About
How we check prices
The Entry Fee tells you what it costs to get into the world's great sites before you go: every ticket type, who goes free, free days and how to book.
Where the prices come from
Every price is read by hand from the attraction's own official website: the museum, park authority or heritage body that runs it, never a reseller. Each ticket shows the month we checked it and links to the page we read. Prices are for adults unless a ticket says otherwise.
Conversions into US dollars, pounds and euros use the European Central Bank's reference rates on the date shown, rounded. Your bank's rate will differ a little.
Where the list of sites comes from
The list of World Heritage sites, their countries, types, listing years and positions come from UNESCO's World Heritage List open data, published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Many World Heritage sites, such as old town centres and national parks, cover a wide area, so we price the attractions inside them that charge for entry.
Independent
The Entry Fee is independent. It isn't connected with, or endorsed by, UNESCO or any attraction listed here.
Spotted a change?
Prices change, usually once a year. If you see one that's out of date, please tell us and we'll check it again.
